The Intercultural course is an introductory preparation for healthcare professionals who plan to live and work in the Middle East countries where culture radically differs from the European one.
The training provides its attendees with a theoretical and practical overview of main cultural, traditional and religious pillars of working in the Gulf states. Moreover, the course instructor, Ms. Bc. Hana Slechtova, DiS., is an experienced nurse currently working in Saudi Arabia. She will provide you with a variety of “real life stories” that will help you to prepare for a “cultural shock” once you are on site.
Aims of the course:
Meeting language and cultural requirements set by the partner hospitals
Learning key pillars of Arabic culture, tradition and religion and readiness for working in an international environment
Collecting a number of valuable pieces of advice prior to travelling
Readiness for overcoming an unavoidable “cultural shock”
